For many years I was a Labrador Retriever Breeder. In the year 2000 Sunset Labradors was born. Some of you may remember us. We bred, trained and sold over 1,100 lab puppies. We were well liked, respected and had many returning customers. 2010 it all ended, I am not going to go in detail, just know it was nothing we did wrong. Our last litter in 2009 I kept a yellow male and named him Chisum, yes after the John Wayne movie. I loved all our labs however Chisum was special and stood above any lab I ever owned. Chisum passed away in 2019 and I was devastated over his loss. After some time my wife and I purchased a male chocolate lab and we named him Gunner. He was neutered and became our 100 pound lap dog and lovable big mush. Then on FB, Middletown Humane Society posted a photo of a yellow mixed lab. I felt like Chisum was staring me in the face. Needless to say we adopted him 0n 11/24/2024, they called him “Walnut” and that had to change. We named him Bronson, he was approximately 1 year old and his whole personality resembled Chisum. I have never compared labs however it was hard not to. Bronson has settled in very nice and is doing very well with people and our 2 other dogs, Gunner and Penny. We wanted to try and support The Middletown Humane Society, so we have put together dog products and will be adding many more in the near future. 20% of our profits will be going to The Middletown Humane Society. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the products are very good. You can also donate by following this link  Middletown Humane Society.
